A short diversion from the Hadrian's Wall Path at the bridge at Chollerford takes you along the east bank of the River North Tyne to the remains of the Roman Bridge that took Hadrian's Wall over the River North Tyne. Across the river is Chesters Roman Fort with an excellent view of the Bath House.
